Uses basic resistance training equipment, including light weights, tubing and bands to improve overall strength, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance.

Hatha Yoga will be offered. Learn the ‘Sun Salutation’ and other basic Yoga poses. The focus is on relaxation and breathing as you are guided through a series of poses. Excellent for strength and balance development.
Tuesdays: 4:40 – 5:30 pm
Saturdays: 7:40 – 8:30 am
Specifically designed to address age-related loss of muscle strength and flexibility. It also focuses on postural awareness and balance. Age, overuse and injuries cause muscles to shorten and/or to lose strength which creates an imbalance in the body’s postural alignment and limits range of motion.
Mondays: 3.40 – 4.30 pm
Geared towards seniors by recognizing individual differences in senior fitness levels and offering individual attention to restore lost muscle mass (usually 15%/decade after age 50 and 30% after age 70 respectively). The class promotes safe functional exercises that will help with maintaining and improving Activities of Daily Living (ADL). The class will also incorporate a 7-10 minute warm-up, a 5 minute balance and coordination section as well as a 5 minute stretching period.
